Mr. Francis is Managing Partner of Bluestone Advisers.  Mr. Francis is an expert in Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Restructuring and Private Equity. With 40 years of investment banking experience, Mr. Francis has led over 100 transactions with a value in excess of $40 billion.  Prior to forming Bluestone Mr. Francis served as a Managing Director and Chairman Hickory Advisors, a boutique investment bank which specialized in Industrial, Consumer, Entertainment, Media and FinTech assignments.

Prior to this Mr. Francis served as a Managing Director and Head of Large Cap’ Technology Investment Banking at Citigroup. Before that he was Managing Director and Head of M&A at Schroder & Co. Inc.; and Managing Director and Head of M&A at UBS Securities. Before this he was at Lazard Frères, New York; and a Main Board Director of Lazard Brothers & Co., Limited in London. Mr. Francis started his career at Coopers & Lybrand in England.

Mr. Francis is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments. Mr. Francis has successfully completed the following FINRA Administered Qualification Examinations:  Series 7, 24, 63, and 79. He lives in Manhattan and Southampton, NY.
